Abstract

The invention provides a networking method and system based on LoRa. The networking method comprises the following steps: a gateway directly connected with a cloud server via an IP network is called as a main gateway, the LoRa communication hop of the main gateway and the cloud server is zero, and the hop of the gateway refers to the number of gateways that need to be passed when the gateway communicates with the cloud server; a gateway that has no the IP network and cannot be directly connected with the cloud server is called as a daughter gateway, and the daughter gateway is connected with the main gateway or other daughter gateways; and a terminal is enabled to be connected with the daughter gateways. The networking method and system provided by the invention have the following beneficial effects: under an environment without the IP network, the LoRa network coverage range is greatly increased; and by virtue of a self-healing network, under a condition that a certain gateway or some gateways have a fault, the communication still can be kept between the terminal and a server; and with a visualized network coverage, the equipment can be conveniently expanded and maintained.
