Because the two groups of pistons of bent axles are arranged on the two sides of the cylinder body, moment of force produced by two groups of pistons mutually opposed is mutually counteracted, vibration produced when the engine works is reduced greatly, and the operation can be more smooth and steady. Because the fact that two groups of pistons are matched mutually in the same air cylinder to work oppositely is adopted by the horizontally opposed engine, the effective stress working area of the pistons is twice that of the original normal single piston, so that under the same oil fueling condition, the torque power of the horizontally opposed engine is twice that of a single piston of a normal single bent axles.
