The invention relates to a key-based local area network broadcast network access method. The local area network comprises a coordinator, a routing node and a terminal node; the coordinator is used for setting up the local area network; and the terminal node is used for acquiring data and adding the data to the local area network through the routing node. The key-based local area network broadcast network access method comprises the following steps: setting the coordinator into a first state that does not allow other network nodes to associate; setting the routing node into the first state that does not allow the other network nodes to associate; long pressing a coordinator network access key, and sending a broadcast message to the routing node by the coordinator; receiving the broadcast message by the routing node, and changing the routing node into a second state that allows the other network nodes to associate; and joining the local area network by the terminal node through the routing node in the second state. The above method can avoid other network interferences, the reliability of local area network authentication access is higher, and the network stability and activity are better.
