Abstract

The invention discloses a charging balance method for a DC charging pile. The method comprises steps of controlling an A/DC change-over device to connecting AC output by an AC output end to a DC main charging loop or a vehicle charging machine by a central processor according to a charging type, acquiring electric quantity information of all batteries by a charging controller when the DC is connected to the AC main charging loop, determining a battery having the lowest electric quantity as a to-be-charged battery, determining an electric quantity grade of the to-be-charged battery, determining whether to charge the to-be-charged battery according to the electric quantity grade, if so, charging via corresponding charging currents, detecting whether to rise the electric quantity grade of the to-be-charged battery, if so, determining whether the to-be-charged battery is the battery having the lowest electric quantity, if so, circularly executing the above steps until the battery set is fully charged. The beneficial effects are that (1) the battery can be charged by the charging pile in a balance way; and (2) heat generation amount during the charging of the charging pile and the battery can be reduced.
