Abstract

The invention discloses equipment for preventing shorted connection of a power supply and an uninterruptible power supply. The equipment comprises a main contactor, an auxiliary contactor, a current-limiting resistor and a delay relay, wherein the main contactor is connected between an output end of the power supply and a power supply connection point of power utilization equipment, the auxiliary contactor is connected in series with the current-limiting resistor and then is connected between the output end of the power supply and the power supply connection point, the power supply connection point is used for supplying power to a coil of the delay relay, a normally-open contact of the delay relay is used for controlling a power supply path of the main contactor. When two arbitrary output ends of the power supply are circuit-shorted, the auxiliary contactor is connected with the current-limiting resistor, a voltage between the two output ends which are circuit-shorted will be applied onto the current-limiting resistor, no voltage exists in an end point corresponding to the power supply connection point, the corresponding delay relay will not act, the power supply path of the main contactor will be conducted when the delay relay does not act, and thus, a safety accident caused by making the power utilization equipment powered on during short circuit of the power supply can be prevented.
