Abstract

The invention discloses an artificial electromagnetic surface based on a P-B phase structure and a design method of the artificial electromagnetic surface. The artificial electromagnetic surface comprises a dielectric substrate, a metal back board covering the lower surface of the dielectric substrate and a basic unit array covering the upper surface of the dielectric substrate, wherein the basic unit array is formed by randomly and uniformly arranging four N-shaped basic units with identical structure size and different rotation angles; the N-shaped basic units are N-shaped P-B phase structured units. The design method of the artificial electromagnetic surface comprises the following steps: (1) determining the structure size, meeting a stealth frequency band requirement, of the N-shaped basic units; (2) designing phase distribution of the basic unit array with an iterative Fourier-transform algorithm; (3) discretizing phase distribution into four phase values including 0, 90, 180 and 270, and determining the rotating angles, corresponding to the four phase values, of the four N-shaped basic units through circular polarized wave excitation; (4) arranging the four N-shaped basic units according to discrete phase distribution to obtain the final unit array. The artificial electromagnetic surface can disperse energy emitted to the surface effectively, and stealth is realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an artificial electromagnetic surface and a design method thereof, in particular to an artificial electromagnetic surface based on a P-B phase structure and a design method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of radar stealth and new artificial electromagnetic materials. Background technique [0002] New artificial electromagnetic materials, also known as metamaterials, are composed of subwavelength unit structure arrangements, and the arrangement of units can be periodic or aperiodic. Matter in nature is composed of a large number of microscopic particles such as atoms, molecules or ions, and the basic properties of matter are determined by the characteristics of these microscopic particles and their arrangement in space. The sub-wavelength units that constitute new artificial electromagnetic materials are similar to the roles played by atoms, molecules or ions in the natural substances they constitute. Unlike these mi...
