The method herein includes the following steps: acquiring a virtual environment type displayed by a VR device; acquiring data of an environment of a user who wears the VR device, and generating an actual environment model; matching the actual environment model and the virtual environment model, if the result of the matching is that a designated object of the actual environment model fails to match a virtual object in the actual environment, adding a virtual object corresponding to the designated object in the virtual environment model. According to the embodiments of the application, the method herein is applied to processing display data.
