Abstract

The invention relates to a space manufacturing mechanism of towing sails of different sizes for removing space debris, and belongs to the technical field of space manufacturing of towing sails for removing the space debris. The space manufacturing mechanism comprises two parts of a space subsystem and a method for capturing target debris and releasing the towing sails. The space subsystem comprises a mechanical container, an auxiliary subsystem and raw material container, wherein the mechanical container further comprises a towing sail manufacturing facility; the auxiliary subsystem and raw material container is used for operating subsystems required by the mechanical facilities and materials required for manufacturing the towing sails; the mechanical container comprises two L-shaped support structures, two cylindrical rods, two extruders, two compactors, two conveying arms and the towing sails; and the auxiliary subsystem and raw material container comprises laminated rollers used for manufacturing resistance sails of different sizes, and also comprises other subsystems and units required for operating the mechanism, such as a power unit and a thermal control subsystem. The mechanism provided by the invention allows several towing sails to be automatically manufactured in the space and can be changed as needed.
