Abstract

The invention provides a tailless flapping-wing aircraft and a flight control method thereof. The tailless flapping-wing aircraft comprises a rack and two independent flapping-wing mechanisms which are mounted n the rack and are of the same structure. An undercarriage is arranged on the lower portion of the rack. When the flapping-wing aircraft is parked on the horizontal plane, the bottom face of the rack is parallel to the horizontal plane. Each flapping-wing mechanism comprises a wing, a promoter, an approximately I-shaped soft iron core, a coil, edge-grooved wheels, and a rubber ring. According to the tailless flapping-wing aircraft and the flight control method thereof, the wings are directly driven to swing through swinging motors, no transmission mechanism is arranged between the swinging motors and the wings, and the weight, energy consumption and noise of the flapping-wing aircraft can be reduced advantageously; the flapping-wing aircraft is controlled to fly by changing the waveform of voltages applied to the two poles of the swinging motors instead of adopting a complex control mechanism, and the weight of the flapping-wing aircraft can be reduced advantageously. The flapping-wing mechanisms are high in strength, long in service life and low in manufacturing cost.
