The method comprises the steps of A, generating a virtual curved-surface model, the coordinates and the normal vector directions of measurement points on the model for a to-be-detected curved-surface part, and generating the NC numerical control detection code of the to-be-detected curved-surface part; B, establishing a model standard ball, generating the measurement points and the coordinates of the measurement points on the standard ball corresponding to the measurement points of the curved-surface part, and generating the NC numerical control detection code of the solid standard ball; C, automatically aligning the solid standard ball on the numerically-controlled machine tool; D, conducting the on-line detection to obtain the measurement coordinates of the solid standard ball, subjecting the coordinates of the solid standard ball to conversion and calculation, and obtaining the measuring head pre-travel error of each measurement point corresponding to the normal vector direction; E, automatically measuring the to-be-detected curved-surface part on the to-be-detected curved-surface part, conducting the compensation operation and obtaining the final measurement coordinates of each measurement point.
