Abstract

The invention provides a high-precision geometrical positioning method of an RPC model of an island satellite image. The method comprises steps of achieving mutual conversion between a spaceborne optical sensor strict imaging model and the RPC model; by use of the satellite images of the land regions which are on the same orbit with the satellite images of the island regions, and a few of control points of the land parts, correcting image models of satellite images of the land regions; and through an orbit extrapotation mode, correcting the RPC model of the satellite images of the island regions, thereby achieving precise geometrical positioning of non-control points of the island satellite image.
