Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: source PTN equipment sends a LB request message by using a fast message sending period; intermediate PTN equipment sends the LB request message to a destination PTN equipment direction when receiving the LB request message, and sends a LB response message to the source PTN equipment; the destination PTN equipment sends the LB response message to the source PTN equipment when receiving the LB request message; the source PTN equipment computes the packet loss number of the link between two adjacent PTN equipment according to the recorded number of the LB response message sent by two adjacent PTN equipment in the same period, and determines whether the performance degradation exists on the corresponding link according to the packet loss number.
