Abstract

The floating breakwater comprises a plurality of floating boxes which are connected to one another by connecting devices, wherein each floating box comprises an upper floating body and a lower floating body which are in contact from top to bottom and are fixedly arranged; the upper floating body is of a tortuous slope-shaped groove type steel structure, and a plurality of block-shaped energy dissipating devices are arranged on the inward bending surface of the groove of the upper floating body; the lower floating body is a rectangular body made of a high-strength polypropylene material, and a plurality of wave dissipating holes which are perforated and staggered are formed in the lower floating body; and the floating banks are provided with mooring guide rope holes which are used for connecting guide ropes so as to moor the floating boxes in water. The floating breakwater has the beneficial effects that the floating breakwater has a good wave dissipating effect under terrible ocean environments and long-period waves and is simple in structure; and the width of the breakwater is unlimited due to adoption of modular assembly, thereby facilitating offshore construction and later maintenance.
