The invention belongs to the field of wave resistance, disaster reduction and coast engineering, and especially relates to a simple floating wave absorption apparatus which comprises a top board, a base plate, side surface baffle plates, fence plates, a column, energy dissipating chambers, a tyre, a recessed-surface arc plate, a porous water-stop plate, a convex-surface arc plate and an anchor chain. The simple floating wave absorption apparatus is characterized in that the top board and the base plate are respectively positioned on the top and bottom of the wave absorption apparatus, the column connects the top board and the base plate, the two sides of the wave absorption apparatus are sealed through hollow-out side surface baffle plates, the front and rear sides of the wave absorption apparatus are sealed through the fence plates, the interior of the wave absorption apparatus is divided into three energy dissipating chambers through the fence plates, and the wave absorption apparatus integrally floats on the water surface and is fixed on a seabed through the anchor chain. The simple floating wave absorption apparatus is based on hollow-out and multi-level energy dissipating principles to reach better wave absorption effect, and is easy to install and move. The simple floating wave absorption apparatus is highly reliable, and has minimal influence on the appearance of a shoreline.
