Abstract

The disclosure provides a backlight module, an assembly method thereof and a display panel. The backlight module comprises: a back plate; a lamp strip arranged on the back plate; a light guide plate arranged on the back plate, with a gap formed between the light guide plate and the lamp strip; a film structure arranged on an exit face of the light guide plate opposite to the back plate; a terrace arranged in the gap, wherein two sides of the terrace are in contact with at least part of the light guide plate and film structure and at least part of the lamp strip respectively. The terrace is raised out of the gap so that the upper surface of the terrace is higher than that of the film structure.
