The invention discloses an automobile rear axle gas vent valve comprising an installing seat installed on a rear axle shell, a valve body fixed to the installing seat, a dust prevention cap fixed to the top end of the valve body, a valve core, an upper valve plate and a pre-tightening spring. A vent hole is formed in the valve body axially. The bottom of the dust prevention cap is provided with a gas outlet. The valve core is arranged in the vent hole. A cavity between the valve core and the vent hole is an oil and gas separation cavity. A gas inlet cavity is formed in the valve core. The bottom of the gas inlet cavity communicates with the rear axle shell. The side wall of the gas inlet cavity is provided with a plurality of gas outlet holes communicating with an oil and gas separation chamber. The upper valve plate is installed at the top end of the valve core and used for opening or closing the oil and gas separation cavity. The oil and gas separation cavity is connected with an exhaust opening after opened. The pre-tightening spring is arranged between a valve cover and the upper valve plate and is used for controlling the opening pressure of the upper valve plate.
