Abstract

The invention provides an OTC-drug-based recommending system. The OTC-drug-based recommending system includes a symptom characteristic database, a drug database and a drug matching module, wherein thesymptom characteristic database is used for matching the acquired symptom information of users so as to acquire a first set of the corresponding symptom characteristics; the drug database is connected with the symptom characteristic database for acquiring the characteristic weight of each symptom characteristic and acquiring a second set of the drugs corresponding to each symptom characteristic,according to the correlated information between each symptom characteristic in the first set and drugs; and the drug matching module is connected with the drug database for respectively acquiring thematching degree of each drug, according to the characteristic weight and the drugs, in the second set, corresponding to each symptom characteristic. The OTC-drug-based recommending system has the advantages of overcoming the defect that in the prior art, the levels of senior pharmacists are various as drugs are recommended to patients, based on the senior pharmacists, so that the finally recommenddrugs are not surely suitable for the patients.
