Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of chemical analysis and particularly relates to a method for measuring tungsten content in steel. The method comprises the following steps: (a) mixing and heating the mixed acid of hydrochloric acid and nitric acid and a weighed steel sample, thereby dissolving the steel sample; (b) mixing with sulfur phosphor mixed acid and then heating till the sulfur phosphoric acid smoke appears in a mixed system, adding perchloric acid and then heating till pure perchloric acid smoke appears in the mixed system and separating the bottom of the appearing perchloric acidsmoke from the liquid level of the mixed system; (c) mixing with a dilute phosphoric acid solution, and then mixing with an ammonium ferrous sulfate solution, cooling to room temperature and then using a diluted phosphate solution for diluting and keeping constant volume, thereby acquiring to-be-developed mother liquor; and (d) taking some to-be-developed mother liquor, mixing with the thiocyanatesolution, stannous chloride solution, dilute sulfuric acid and a titanium trichloride solution, and then achieving the constant volume by using the stannous chloride solution, and developing to acquire the developing liquor; measuring the absorbency of the developing liquor; and calculating according to the measured absorbency value, thereby acquiring the tungsten content in the steel sample.
