Abstract

The invention provides a liquid crystal display driving method, which comprises the steps of dividing a liquid crystal display into a plurality of display areas, and driving the plurality of display areas in the partition mode; setting a backlight coefficient corresponding to the backlight of each display area in the liquid crystal display as a first backlight coefficient within the front half time of the displaying process of one frame of a picture on the liquid crystal display, wherein the first backlight coefficient is smaller than or equal to a maximum backlight coefficient in the backlight corresponding to each display area of the liquid crystal display; setting a backlight coefficient corresponding to the backlight of each display area in the liquid crystal display as a second backlight coefficient within the latter half time of the displaying process of one frame of the picture on the liquid crystal display, wherein the second backlight coefficient is smaller than the first threshold value. In this way, a preset picture can be inserted into the frame of the picture during the latter half time of the displaying process of the picture on the liquid crystal display. The difference between the gray scale of a preset picture and the grey scale of a full-black picture is within a preset range. By adopting the technical scheme provided by the invention, the picture fuzziness when a moving picture is displayed on the liquid crystal display can be improved.
