Abstract

The wet scar-removing dressing containing bioactive glass is made from the main functional ingredients, bioactive glass and chitosan by using Vaseline and liquid paraffin as paste basal materials, soaking through gauzeor nonwoven sheet at 75-105 DEG C, and airing for forming. The wet scar-removing dressing is made from, by weight, 70 parts of Vaseline, 10 parts of liquid paraffin, 12 parts of bioactive glass, 2 parts of medical glycerol, 0.7 part of chitosan, and an appropriate amount of gauze strips. The wet scar-removing dressing has the advantages that scars can be effectively decreased by the dressing; thedressing can promote healing of scar wounds, for example, from Cesarean section, anti-inflammatory effect of the bioactive glass and chitosan can promote healing and lessen inflammations, the dressing provides long-acting antibacterial effect and promotes healing of wounds, and the dressing is particularly effective in preventing scars.
