Abstract

The invention relates to a construction method of a self-overturning and self-supporting type automatic river levee and belongs to the technical field of movable river levee construction. The automatic river levee, the top of foundation of which is aligned to the ground, is constructed on a bent river bank. A construction method of a levee wallboard constructed along the river bank, a portal framefor placing the levee wallboard, an organic flexible water resisting material on an upstream face of the levee wallboard and a limiting reinforcing pier and a corner pier after the levee wallboard isoverturned is adopted, wherein a self-overturning mechanism and a self-supporting mechanism which are connected by a flexible structure are arranged on the foundation of the levee, the top of which is aligned to the ground. The levee wallboard is a pavement of a sidewalk road when no flood is available. When the flood comes, the levee wallboard can follow a flow of water to overturn automaticallyto be assembled to a firm levee body where water is unlikely to seep and leak. The levee and the pavement are compatible. When the water raises, the levee appears; and when the water falls, the leveeis hidden to form the pavement.
