The method includes the following steps: when there are a quadrilateral and a bank card organization identifier in a current image, and the relative position of the quadrilateral and the bank card organization identifier satisfies a first condition and the relative size of the quadrilateral and the bank card organization identifier satisfies a second condition, determining an area enclosed by the quadrilateral as a bank card area and intercepting the bank card area from the current image; intercepting a card number area in the bank card area; dividing the card number area into multiple card number sub-areas; extracting the characteristics of each card number sub-area through a convolutional neural network; andinputting the characteristics of each card number sub-area into a classifier to obtain the card number of a bank card in the current image.
