Abstract

The invention discloses a visible light communication indoor three-dimensional positioning method and system based on ant colony optimization (ACO). The method comprises the following steps: CDMA spread spectrum modulation is carried out on original ID information codes of transmitting end LEDs; the transmitting end LEDs transmit signals loaded with the ID information codes after the CDMA spread spectrum modulation; a receiving end receives optical signals from a plurality of transmitters, wherein the obtained optical signals are hybrid optical signals; despreading is carried out on the hybridoptical signals, thereby obtaining light intensity attenuation factors and ID position information of corresponding LEDs; the light intensity attenuation factors of the LEDs are expressed through utilization of gains of channels; and three-dimensional coordinates of a receiver are determined through adoption of a three-dimensional positioning algorithm based on the ACO according to light intensity attenuation factors of the LEDs. According to the method and the system, through introduction of a CDMA modulation technology, the defect that frequency division multiple access and time division multiple access visible light communication systems in the prior art are low in channel capacity is compensated, and the indoor light communication quality is improved.
