Problems solved by technology

[0011] In order to analyze and verify the above indicators, it is usually necessary to build an actual network or based on a simulation platform. However, due to factors such as cost and physics, it is often impossible to use large-scale nodes, and there are many restrictions on the scale of the network and the recording of results; On the other hand, the network simulation platform is usually oriented to the traditional Internet and lacks support for this type of protocol simulation. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a general solution for automatic allocation of protocol simulation by extending NS2

Embodiment

[0032] The following introduces the simulation experiment of the PACMAN protocol in the expanded NS2 platform.

[0033] The PACMAN protocol is a novel and efficient distributed automatic address allocation scheme. Through cross-layer analysis, the information of the data link layer and the network layer can be fully utilized in the dynamic address allocation, and it has the characteristics of both stateful and stateless methods.

[0034] experiment procedure;

[0035] In the experiment, the routing protocol adopts the AODV protocol, and the specific PACMAN protocol is transplanted to the extended platform, and the following four steps are required:

[0036] 1) Create a protocol proxy class PACMANAddrConfig

[0037] The proxy class PACMANAddrConfig that defines the PACMAN protocol, inherits from the AddrConfig class, and focuses on implementing the function PACMANAddrConfig::recv(Packet*,Handler*). The function is called when a routing protocol message is received...

Abstract

The invention discloses an analog simulation method of a mobile ad hoc network address automatic allocation protocol in an NS2. The method includes the following steps: extending an NS2 network simulation platform, and when a message arrives in an NS2 platform network, enabling an address configuration agent to acquire the message before a routing protocol agent, wherein (1) if the message belongsto an address configuration protocol message, the address configuration agent discards the message after completely processing the message; (2) if the type of the message is a routing agent message,the address configuration agent firstly detects whether address conflicts exist in the network according to an address automatic configuration protocol, and changes an IP address if the conflicts exist; and (3) other types of messages are directly transferred to the routing agent for processing. According to the scheme of the invention, the NS2 platform is extended, the method mainly includes theoperations of embedding the address configuration agent before the routing agent and adding the mapping maintenance of node numbers and the IP address in an analog network in an original GOD class, and thus the simulation of the network address automatic allocation protocol can be supported.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for simulating and realizing automatic allocation of mobile ad hoc network addresses in NS2 (Network Simulator 2). Background technique [0002] The characteristics of node independence, centerless and dynamic multi-hop of mobile ad hoc network make it widely used in military applications, personal communication, disaster rescue and wireless sensor networks. At present, one of the research hotspots of mobile ad hoc networks is how to effectively discover routes and establish system routing tables. The proposed protocols are mainly divided into active (or table-driven) and on-demand (or responsive). In the table-driven routing protocol, nodes maintain a routing table containing routing information to the destination node, and update the routing table in real time according to changes in the network topology, so as to accurately reflect the network topology and correct routing. In an on-demand-driven routing protocol, n...
