The method comprises the steps of: receiving data packets; initializing non-retransmitted data packets, comprising: sending a network function execution chain identifier and network function unit information required to be executed for executing first-turn network function pipeline traversal to the data packets; traversing network function units in turn according to a network function pipeline to trigger the network function units that need to execute actions to process the data packets; if all network functions in a network function execution chain of the data packets are not completely executed, repeating the above steps based on the retransmitted data packets; and after allthe network functions in the network function execution chain are completely executed, outputting the data packets.
