Abstract

The analog-to-digital converter comprises a correction capacitor device CE and a switching device coupled to the correction capacitor device CE; and the switching device can be coupled to the ground or a certain reference voltage, wherein the switching device can select to connect a lower polar plate of the correction capacitor device CE to the ground (or a certain reference voltage) in a holding mode and select to connect the lower polar plate of the correction capacitor device CE a certain reference voltage (or to the ground) in a charge reallocation mode. According to the error correction circuit disclosed by theinvention, the offset error correction circuit is added in the analog-to-digital converter to achieve the correctability of positive / negative offset errors.
