Abstract

The present invention discloses a positive dielectric liquid crystal composition. The liquid crystal composition comprises a component A composed of one or more liquid crystal compounds represented bya general formula I in the description, a component B composed of one or more liquid crystal compounds represented by a general formula II in the description, a component C composed of one or more liquid crystal compounds represented by a general formula III in the description, and an additive component D composed of one or more compounds represented by a general formula S-1 in the description. The composition provided by the present invention does not change under the conditions of high temperature and ultraviolet radiation, thereby improving the quality of liquid crystals; and the composition is applicable to active matrix electro-optical elements and liquid crystal displays, and can be used for TFT-LCD used under civil and special harsh conditions.
