Abstract

The invention provides a radiation-protective material. The radiation-protective material is prepared from the following components in percent by weight: 25-40% of matrix, 25-40% of curing agent and 20-40% of modified flame-retardant agent, wherein the matrix is prepared from the following components in percent by weight: 30-70% of epoxy resin with the viscosity being less than 8000mPa.s when thetemperature is 25 DEG C, 20-40% of hydrogenated epoxy resin and 1-30% of unsaturated polyester. The radiation-protective material provided by the invention has the beneficial effects that the epoxy resin with the viscosity being less than 8000mPa.s when the temperature is 25 DEG C, the hydrogenated epoxy resin and the unsaturated polyester in the matrix are ensured to be in respective and corresponding content ranges, and by the synergistic effect of the epoxy resin, the hydrogenated epoxy resin and the unsaturated polyester, the radiation-protective material has proper viscosity and good forming property so as to facilitate the preparation of the material; the radiation-protective material not only has good heat resistance, dynamic property and speed-reducing capability for fast neutronsand lower volume shrinkage rate, but also can reduce micropores formed after the radiation-protective material is cured and shrunk.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to materials for shielding spent fuel produced by nuclear power plants, in particular to a radiation protection material. Background technique [0002] Neutrons are one of the basic particles that make up the atomic nucleus. They are not charged, but because of their high speed, they can ionize matter and produce radioactive radiation. They are widely used in national defense, scientific research, radiotherapy and detection. Neutrons are indispensable in the use of nuclear fission to develop nuclear power, providing a large amount of clean energy for mankind. However, a large number of secondary particles generated by neutron ionization interact with tissue cells, causing great harm to human health. At the same time, neutron irradiation can cause point defects and dislocations inside the material, degrading the properties of the material. After the Fukushima nuclear accident in Japan, the safety of nuclear energy has been widely...
