Abstract

The invention provides an SNP locus related to lactation piglet diarrhea resistance or susceptibility, molecular marking detection and application, and relates to application of the locus related to the lactation piglet diarrhea resistance (or susceptibility), molecular marking detection and application of the SNP locus in breeding Changbai pigs. SNP related to the lactation piglet diarrhea resistance (or susceptibility) is found in a CTLA4 gene, and the SNP (shown in the description) is located in a 3' non-translation area of the CTLA4 gene. The invention further provides a PstI PCR-RFLP detection technology involving the SNP locus. In the Changbai pigs, through the molecular marking technology, piglets with a high capability of resisting diarrhea can be selected, and then the breeding process of a new Changbai pig diarrhea resistance strain is accelerated.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of molecular genetics, and specifically relates to the preparation, detection method and application of molecular markers related to diarrhea resistance (or susceptibility) of suckling piglets. Background technique [0002] Piglet diarrhea is one of the most common diseases in the pig industry. The incidence of piglet diarrhea is 20%-50%, and the mortality rate is above 20%. Diarrhea causes piglet weight gain to slow down, feed remuneration, and resistance decline. How to reduce the incidence of piglet diarrhea has become an urgent problem to be solved. [0003] With the development of modern molecular biology, molecular marker technology is gradually applied to breeding, through which individuals with good growth and strong diarrhea resistance can be bred in a short period of time. Compared with traditional breeding methods, it reduces the consumption of human, material and financial resources, and can fundamentally...
