Problems solved by technology

[0011] Therefore, the LoRaWAN specification does not define the distribution method of multicast addresses and session keys, which makes it impossible to deploy in actual use. At the same time, the development of multicast services, as well as the management of multicast groups and the maintenance of multicast routing, the LoRaWAN specification no solution for this

[0104] LoRa base station 202: responsible for transmitting multicast frames to all LoRa terminals covered by the base station;

[0105] Network server 203: responsible for allocating multicast addresses and maintaining multicast group routing, a multicast group will be composed of multiple LoRa base stations 202;

[0106] Multicast application 204: multicast source, responsible for the establishment and maintenance of multicast groups; a multicast application has multiple multicast groups, and the multicast addresses and security keys of each multicast group are different.

Abstract

The invention provides a multicast realization method for an LPWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) Internet of things. The problems of multicast group management, multicast address and session key allocation and multicast route maintenance are solved. The method comprises LoRa terminals, a pluarity of LoRa base stations, a network server and a multicast application. The LoRa terminals are used forreceiving multicast information. The LoRa base stations are used for transmitting multicast frames to all LoRa terminals in the coverage range of the base stations. The network server is used for allocating multicast addresses and maintaining multicast group routes. The multicast application is used for establishing and maintaining a plurality of multicast groups. The method has the beneficial effects that through adoption of the method provided by the invention, multicast functions of LoRaWAN ClassB and ClassC terminals are realized, and the difficulty that batch terminals issue commands at the same time is solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the communication field of low-power wide-area Internet of Things, in particular to a multicast implementation method of LPWAN (Long Range WideArea Network) Internet of Things. Background technique [0002] In the field of communication, there are two ways of point-to-point communication and point-to-multipoint communication. Both methods have their application scenarios. Usually, most applications are point-to-point scenarios, but for some applications, they are point-to-multipoint scenarios. [0003] Compared with point-to-point communication, the main advantage of point-to-multipoint communication is that it can greatly improve communication efficiency and information diffusion speed. A message sent by the source party can be transmitted to multiple sink parties. [0004] Point-to-multipoint communication is called multicast communication. [0005] In current data communication networks and PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network...
