Abstract

Provided is a method and device for detecting a compression breakage temperature of a material. The method comprises the steps that (1) heating rings are arranged at a plurality of different positionsof a to-be-detected material, a thermal-protective coating is arranged between each heating ring and the to-be-detected material; then the to-be-detected material is fixedly clamped in a compressionperformance test machine; (2) the heating rings are powered on for heating, so that different parts of the to-be-detected material are heated to different temperatures; (3) compression test is conducted on the to-be-detected material through the compression performance test machine, and the compression breakage temperature is determined according to the position where breakage occurs firstly. Thedevice comprise a fixture, a temperature control box and a heating device, wherein the heating device is composed of a plurality of heating rings, a thermocouple and the thermal-protective coating, and each heating ring is provided with a resistance wire connected with the temperature control box.
