Abstract

The invention discloses an asynchronous transportation simulation method and system for particle transportation are decomposition parallel calculation. The method comprises the following steps of: dividing a combinatorial geometric area into a plurality of subareas by a main process by adoption of a division algorithm for multi-division nodes; distributing a simulated subarea and a particle sourcefor each area process by the main process; obtaining particles from the particle source by the area process, so as to simulate particle transportation; sending the particles moving to boundary of thesubarea to another area processes by the area process, or receiving the particles sent by other area processes, and updating a particle migration record of the subarea according to the quantity of particles transmitted or received between the area process and the other area processes; when no to-be-simulated particles exist in the subarea, sending the particle migration record of the subarea to the main process by the area process; and receiving and checking the particle migration record of each area process by the main process, and judging whether to end the simulation or not. The method iscapable of avoiding global communication, decreasing the process waiting time of the whole algorithm and ensuring relatively high parallel efficiency.
