Embodiment Construction

[0053] When the color foggy image defogging technology is implemented, the foggy image is cleared through the fast image defogging method of brightness contrast enhancement and saturation compensation.

[0054] The specific process of realizing the dehazing of the color foggy image is as follows:

[0055] 1) White balance preprocessing based on color cast detection

[0056] Step 1: Convert the foggy color image I from RGB color space to Lab color space [1] , get the brightness channel L, color channels a and b.

[0057] Step 2: Perform color cast detection on the image I based on the color distortion factor.

[0058] The average chromaticity of image I is calculated by the following formula:

[0059]

[0060] Among them: M a and M b denote the mean values of color channels a and b, respectively, and M denotes the average chroma of image I. m a and M b Calculated by the following formula:

[0061]

[0062] Among them: x represents a pixel in image I, N represents...

Abstract

The invention relates to an image defogging method in the computer vision field and especially relates to a rapid image defogging method based on brightness contrast enhancement and saturation compensation. The method comprises the following steps of 1) white balance pretreatment based on color cast detection; 2) contrast enhancement based on a brightness channel; and 3) saturation compensation based on an atmosphere scattering model. In the invention, a white balance correction method based on the color cast detection is adopted so that a problem of color distortion during a defogging processis solved. Transmissivity calculating is performed in an L single channel so that defogging processing time can be effectively shortened and algorithm operation time consuming is greatly reduced. A saturation compensation formula based on the atmosphere scattering model is provided, and the saturation of a recovery result is effectively compensated so that a fog-free image is colorful and vivid.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an image defogging method in the field of computer vision, in particular to a fast image defogging method based on brightness contrast enhancement and saturation compensation. Background technique [0002] In the foggy environment, there are many dust particles and water droplets in the atmosphere, so the light will be scattered, refracted, absorbed and other reactions during the propagation process. In the image defogging method, it is usually assumed that the fog is a white and transparent substance, but due to the influence of factors such as the camera and the air medium, the captured foggy image will appear color cast. Foggy air contains large numbers of liquid droplets that absorb and scatter light, reducing the visibility and contrast of captured images. Fog will not only reduce the contrast of the image, but also make the image pale and desaturate due to the occlusion of the light of the object by the fog, making the o...
