Abstract

The invention provides a di-hole crossing tunnel transparent soil model testing apparatus and a testing method thereof. The testing apparatus comprises a transparent model groove arranged at a test platform, two industrial cameras arranged outside a transparent model groove, and two laser emitters. The transparent model groove comprises flexible sidewalls and a base plate arranged below the flexible sidewalls. While testing, two laser emitters form a speckle tangent plane in the transparent soil, liquid in a hollow cylinder water bag can be discharged according to design, two industrial cameras synchronously take a tangent plane picture in the transparent soil, and a digital image processing technology is used for analysis of the tangent plane picture. The testing method comprises the following steps: designing an experiment scheme, assembling a transparent model groove, making a tunnel model, arranging the industrial cameras, and performing tests. According to the testing apparatus, by changing an angle of the parallelogram transparent soil model groove, the transparent soil model test for crossing tunnel excavation with any angle is realized, and the test cost is saved.
