The setting of the zero-lag firing time of the firework display system comprises thesteps of obtaining the time delay of communication between the display control device and of the multiple automatic firing devices, and calculating and setting the zero-lag firing time of each automatic firing device according to the time delay of communication and a display policy, specifically, the time delay of communication is obtained by adopting a communication determination method, so thathardware configuration of the automatic firing devices is reduced.
