The method includes the steps of lifting a high-voltage cable reel by a crane or a carrying trolley; causing a visual detecting device, an angle detecting device and an arc length detecting device to enter a detecting position; causing the high-voltage cable reel to rotate at a constant speed; recording a first hole site as a zero position; determining coordinates of a second hole site, and at the same time recording the arc length between the second hole site and the first hole site; recording coordinates of each hole site, and at the same time recording the arc length between every two adjacent hole sites; when the visual detecting device detects the zero position of the high-voltage cable reel, controlling the visual detecting device to leave.
