Abstract

The invention provides a mould optimization design method. The method comprises the following steps of building an analysis model of a product to be subjected to injection molding; establishing a preset pouring scheme; and selecting injection molding materials to perform flowability analysis by a Moldflow database, wherein the same injection molding materials do not exist in the Moldflow database,the injection molding materials most similar in shear viscosity are selected. According to the mould optimization design method, when the same injection molding materials do not exist in the Moldflowdatabase, the injection molding materials most similar in shear viscosity are selected; and the flowability analysis is performed based on the materials most similar in shear viscosity, so that a flowability analysis result can be close to an actual injection molding result, the accuracy of optimization design is improved, hidden dangers possibly occurring in a mould test process can be eliminated, the mould test cost is reduced, and the product development efficiency is improved.
