Abstract

The invention discloses an RS and GIS-based sea area geographic element measurement method, system and apparatus. The method comprises the steps of preprocessing remote sensing data, and extracting data of a required area, thereby obtaining area remote sensing data; performing geographic registration on the area remote sensing data by reference to a geographic coordinate system; establishing an element data table, element classes and a relationship table in a geographic database; and loading the area remote sensing data in the geographic database to perform analysis, and performing geographicelement measurement through a measurement tool to obtain measurement data. Through an RS system and a GIS, standard, accurate and quick measurement of geographic elements of a large-area sea area in different periods is realized, so that the manpower and financial resources of field measurement are reduced and the working efficiency is greatly improved; and the geographic elements of the sea areain historical periods can be recorded, so that data analysis and research work is facilitated. The measurement method, system and apparatus can be widely applied to the geographic spatial measurement.
