According to the preheating type electric calcining furnace, the structure of the electric calcining furnace is ingeniously improved and optimized, a volatile matter combustion space isformed in the upper portion of the hearth, heat generated after sufficient burning of volatile matter and combustion air is used for preheating the raw materials, and power consumption of calcined materials can be reduced obviously due to the fact the temperature of the materials entering center zones of the top and bottom electrodes is improved.
