The relative movement is caused by movement of the vehicle (12). The movement is limited through a steering angle of the vehicle (12), wherein the movement of the vehicle (12) is calculated according to the steering angle of the vehicle (12). Furthermore data which describe the relative movement of the object (14) relative to the vehicle (12) are determined.
