The license plate recognition program is implemented as follows: license platepositioning is carried out; to be specific, primary positioning is carried out by using an HSV color positioning method to obtain a candidate license plate area; license plate determination is carriedout; to be specific, a real license plate is determined by using an SVM license plate determination model and whether secondary positioning needs to be carried out on the real license plate is determined; character segmentation is carried out; to be specific, the license plate with the uniform size is segmented by using a vertical projection method to obtain license plate characters; and character recognition is carried out; to be specific, character recognition is carried out by using a Softmax multi-element logistic regression classifier to obtain a finally recognized license plate number.The embedded license plate recognition system has characteristics of small size, low cost and fast recognition.
