The heat exchanger 1 further comprises a bottom 3, in figure 1 In the assembled state of the heat exchanger shown, the tube body 2 with the longitudinal ends 5 can be welded to the bottom 3 . A coolant distributor 4 is also attached to the bottom 3 via which coolant can be distributed to the individual tubes 2 . On the longitudinal end of the tube body 2 opposite the coolant distributor 4 there may similarly be provided a further bottom (not shown) to which a coolant collector (also not shown) may be attached in a similar manner. Coolant distributors 4 and not shown coolant collectors can be crimped to the respective base 3 .
