Abstract

The invention discloses a battery pack and an electric vehicle including the same. The battery pack comprises: a plurality of battery modules; a tray for providing a space for placing the plurality ofbattery modules; a plurality of beam frames installed so as to traverse the upper surface of the tray so as to partition same into spaces in which each of the individual battery modules may be placed; and a plurality of heat sinks formed as hollow structures enabling the flow of a coolant, and each selectively coupling with some of the plurality of beam frames so as to be arranged to face a lateral surface part of each of the battery modules, wherein drainage holes punctured in the downward direction with respect to each of the heat sinks are provided to the tray and the beam frames.
