Embodiment Construction

[0024] Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0025] refer to figure 1 , The disposable intubation device of this embodiment includes a cannula 100 and a catheter assembly 200 inserted into the lumen of the cannula for facilitating intubation of the cannula.

[0026] refer to figure 2 The cannula 100 includes a hollow vent tube 110 having both open ends and a joint 120 fixed to one end of the vent tube 110 for connection with an external device for supplying gas to the lumen of the cannula. The vent tube 110 is made of soft semi-rigid plastic such as polyethylene, polypropylene. In addition, an air bag 130 is formed at the other end of the ventilation tube 110 , and a plug joint 140 for injecting air into the air bag 130 is connected. A syringe is connected to the plug connector 140 to supply air to the air bag 130 . The air bag 130 is inflated after completion of the intubation to pr...

Abstract

The present invention relates to an intubation apparatus and, more specifically, to a disposable intubation apparatus with a camera which can be easily intubated to perform artificial respiration on apatient. The disposable intubation apparatus comprises an intubation tube and a hollow guide tube which is inserted into a lumen of the intubation tube to facilitate intubation of the intubation tube. The intubation tube is a hollow tube having two open ends, in which one end thereof is fixed to an adapter to be connected to an external device for supplying gas to the lumen. The guide tube has first and second ends which are open, and is arranged to be inserted into the intubation tube so that the second end is exposed to the outside of the adapter. The disposable intubation apparatus comprises a receptacle which is detachably connected to the adapter of the intubation tube so as to facilitate intubation of the intubation tube using the guide tube. In addition, the disposable intubation apparatus comprises a lens installed on the first end of the guide tube such that an operator can identify vocal cords and bronchial tubes when inserting the guide tube into the mouth, and a camera module installed behind the lens. The camera module is connected to a USB cable, and a USB cable terminal is arranged to be exposed toward the second end of the guide tube. The lens is installed so as toseal the lumen of the guide tube on the terminal end of the first end of the guide tube.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an intubation device, and more specifically, to a disposable intubation device capable of easily intubating a patient for artificial respiration. Background technique [0002] General anesthesia for surgery, artificial respiration for patients who are unconscious due to accidents, etc. [0003] Conventionally, a laryngoscope has been used for intubation for artificial respiration. The laryngoscope is used to insert a tube into the patient's trachea by laying the patient down, tilting the head back, and inserting it into the oral cavity. The operator checks the vocal cords of the larynx and inserts the tube between the vocal cords. However, it is difficult to use a laryngoscope when the patient is conscious, and, when the patient has neck problems, throwing the head back can be dangerous. Intubation using a laryngoscope is also difficult in the case of patients with small mouths and jaws, and patients with short necks....
