Abstract

The invention relates to a planning method and device for a physical cell identity. The method comprises the steps of randomly allocating PCIs (Physical Cell Identities) to cells, taking an allocationresult as an initial population; obtaining an interference matrix between serving cells and interference cells interfering the serving cells; and continuously iterating the initial population throughutilization of a genetic algorithm, thereby generating a new population which enables the sum of elements of the interference matrix to be continuously reduced, and taking the generated population asa final PCI planning result after the preset times of iteration is carried out. Compared with the existing PCI planning method, the method provided by the invention has the advantages that the overlapped coverage degree of the serving cells and the interference cells in grids is taken as one of planning allocation factors, when allocation is carried out, a complex radio communication environmentamong the cells can be taken into full consideration, and the iteration is carried out continuously through utilization of the genetic algorithm, so the optimal solution enabling the interference to be minimized is searched, planning reasonability is effectively improved, and the signal interference among the cells resulting from the unreasonable planning can be avoided.
