Abstract

The invention provides an intelligent ancient building lightning protection method and system. The method comprises steps that the weather information of the location environment of an ancient building is obtained through multiple atmospheric electric field sensors, atmospheric electric field strength of the multiple pieces of weather information is sequentially extracted, and whether the atmospheric electric field strength is greater than or equal to the thunder early warning threshold is determined; if yes, the sensor position in the weather information corresponding to the current atmospheric electric field strength is extracted; the thundercloud position in the ancient building environment is further positioned according to the sensor position; and lastly, a lightning protection command is transmitted to a laser transmitter according to the thundercloud position, and the laser transmitter is controlled for transmitting laser to the thundercloud position. The method is advantaged inthat a plasma channel connecting the thundercloud with a lightning tower can be formed through the laser transmitter, the thunder generated at the thundercloud position is directed to the lightning tower, lightning strikes on the ancient building is avoided, equipment such as the lightning tower and the laser transmitter can be installed outside the ancient building environment, and damage causedin the installation process to the ancient building is reduced.
