Abstract

A Neighbor Round Robin Hierarchical Clustering Method for Wireless Sensor Networks. This method studies the problem of cluster head selection for node clustering in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). A Round-robin Hierarchical Clustering Algorithm (EEHCN) is proposed, which determines whether the sensor node can become a cluster head node by comparing the node degree of the sensor node and the comprehensive weight of the distance from the center of the sub-area. In the cluster head replacement phase, the member nodes in the current cluster head's neighbor node set rotate randomly to become the cluster head, and transmit the fused information to the nearest sink node in a multi-hop manner according to the routing information. The method can better save network energy, improve data transmission efficiency, and maximize the network life cycle.
