The gear profile of the standard gear sector and the gear pair transmission ratio are known, the variable ratio rack tooth profile is designed for meshing transmission with known standard gears and satisfying the transmission ratio law, through deduction of the working tooth surface equation, the transition surface equation and the meshing equation of the variable ratio rack, the working tooth surface point cloud and the transition surface point cloud of the variable ratio rack are calculated, and finally the tooth profile is perfected to obtain the whole rack tooth profile point.
