Abstract

The invention discloses a microchannel plate electron multiplier which is strong in reliability, long in service life and simple in structure and comprises a voltage division component and an electronmultiplying component, wherein the voltage division component comprises at least one voltage division resistor which is connected with an external high voltage power supply and used for providing a voltage for the electron multiplying component; the electron multiplying component comprises an insulation shell, at least one multiplying structure and an output structure; at least three first connecting holes are formed in the shell wall of the insulation shell; the output structure and the multiplying structure are sequentially stacked up from top to bottom inside the insulation shell; the multiplying structure comprises an insulation ring, a first electrode slice, a microchannel plate and a second electrode slice which are stacked up from top to bottom, and wires of the first electrode slice and the second electrode slice pass through the first connecting holes, so that the microchannel plate is connected with the voltage division resistor in parallel; and the output structure comprises a third electrode slice and an anode plate which are stacked up from top to bottom, and a wire of the third electrode slice passes through the first connecting hole to be connected with the externalequipment.
