Abstract

The invention relates to a method and system for fast and robust image stray light suppression, which adopts a method of averaging pixels around current pixels to obtain background stray light images,wherein the complexity is low. At the same time, the background stray light image is calculated directly by mathematical decomposition process, which is simple and suitable for the operation of an embedded platform. Under the requirement of high-frequency processing (50Hz), a simplified method of solving the low-frequency information is adopted and the low-frequency information of each pixel is obtained by weighting the surrounding pixel values by a simplified method. In this way, the low-frequency information of the image, that is, background stray light image, can be obtained accurately, and the high-frequency star point information can be obtained conveniently. The whole calculation process in the program only needs adding and subtracting and shift operations, and is convenient for theimplementation of the embedded platform.
